Aero India show offers the best platform once in every two years to the Indian aviation and aerospace industry. These shows enable Indian aerospace industry and several other allied service providers to demonstrate their services and products to niche audience. The show was inaugurated by PRime Minister Narendra Modi today, 18th February 2015, at Bengaluru.
The venue of Aero India Show is the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, the ‘Garden City’. The first air show was conducted in 1996 and it earned enormous compliments. The show will feature varied latest civil and military aircrafts. 33 countries with hundreds of companies will be participating.
The Aerospace shows offer a valuable learning experience. They display the latest technologies in aviation and also the newest offerings of Indian Air Force. These Air Shows offer a common ground to promote business by making new alliances or contacts, to develop aerospace products.
The Aero India Shows are the largest in the South Asia. People in large numbers come here from worldwide and take regular tours to these shows. The city is speckled with several accommodations for all preferences and budgets. Tour packages are also organized.
Visitors’ parking is arranged inside the Yelahanka Air Force Base, while the local visitor’s parking are in Gate No.5. There are signboards to guide motorists and policemen are deployed on the route. The BMTC special buses will stop at the venue entrance. Police has banned heavy goods vehicle movement from February 18-22 between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
