Exquisite Mayoora Terracotta Jewelery made by Special Students

Recently I was to attend a baby shower and I wanted to wear a simple saree and a simple but eye-catching and an inexpensive terracotta jewelry with it. I had nothing to go with the saree that I had and so decided to drag my friend along and go shopping in Bangalore as she knows the local places better than me.

When I told her what I wanted, she showed me some of the pieces that she had, that she had bought from Yashaswini Swavalambana Trust. I fell in love with some of the pieces and had to buy them off her right away. She promised to buy more stuff for me the next time she went there, so I can gift it to my relatives. I think it is a great idea to give as return gifts for birthdays and other functions too. It is really beautiful work and at the same time, the money goes for a good cause. Also, compared to outside prices it looks pretty inexpensive.
